Group Chats Or Broadcast - You must have surely saw both these options on WhatsApp but what does they both really mean? And are they different or same? They are different. First groups, when you send message to groups you will send to message everyone and everyone can reply you there and everyone can see others reply as well. But in Broadcast you send the message same to everyone but message gets delivered to everyone individually and so no one can see other than yours reply.
WhatsApp Web - Ever wondered that you can use the WhatsApp on your desktop as well. You just need to go to the site of WhatsApp named as web.whatsapp and there you will see a QR Code, you just need to scan that QR Code by going into options of your WhatsApp and selecting the WhatsApp Web option and scanning it.
Hide, Last Seen & Your Profile Photo Privacy - You can hide you last seen, status & profile photo from everyone or your contacts only can see and many more options. Just go to Settings > Account > Privacy.
How to Know Your Message Was Sent or Read - Whenever you send a message to anyone you get a single tick means the message you sent has been sent form your side, but when receivers data connection gets on or is on you will get double ticks which means message has been delivered but till now the receiver has not yet read those messages. At last when he/she reads your messages you will surely get to see double ticks with blue colored which clearly states that the message has been read by receiver now.
Block a Contact - If you ever need to block a contact you can simply do this by going to its chat and tapping on 3 dots and selecting for more option there you will an option of block simply click it and your contact will get blocked. You can also block someone in your contacts by going into Settings > Account > Privacy > Blocked and adding the contact in question.
